For three years I worked for IRP and supported the development of content management systems for organisations like the Dutch Institute for Scientific Information. I was editor of Perslink; an intranet for jounalists and broadcasters and coordinator for the MMBase Foundation. MMBase is an object relational mapping tool to build advanced web-applications. MMBase was the first Open Source content management system in the Netherlands. The MMBase foundation was founded by a group of users aiming to connect the community of developers and users, channel development, build client relationships, work on core, do marketing and communication and be a knowledge center for people interested Open Source and Open Standards in the Netherlands.
